The dual-carriageway upgrade of the Libreville – Ntoum – Kougouleu axis is the first section of the Trans-Gabon highway (RN1). It is led by the Société Autoroutière du Gabon (SAG) under a public-private partnership. SIR SE delivered the detailed design over 81 km: high-modulus asphalt pavement, 12 km of trapezoidal and triangular drains, 94 box and pipe culverts. Six months on site, then two years working remotely.

The Northern Segment of Senegal's gas network links the GTA (Grand Tortue Ahmeyim) gas hub to the Gandon power plant: 45 km offshore to the Léona landfall, then 40 km onshore to Gandon. In coastal areas, knowledge of the water table governs trench laying of the pipe.
